Our sessions will start with information gathering about who you are, what you do, what makes you tick, what motivates you and what stands in your way. This information is different for each person and is a crucial step in how I design your plan.
You will watch and respond to web-based curricula, and we will follow up with a phone or Zoom session to discuss your responses, feedback and questions.
The next step is to learn more about who you are through crucial conversations. We work through a series of highly customized questions that help me understand how you have shaped your daily life and how we can adjust your day so that it aligns with your wellness goals.
Under the premise that physical and mental health are inextricably linked, we delve into what makes you happy, how you socialize, and the times and ways you connect with loved ones.
I do a lot of listening, as you guide me to understand what are you willing to do to get the physique that you desire, and more importantly, what you are not willing to do. This step is usually overlooked in traditional weight loss programs, and is the very reason why most diets fail. We all have non-negotiables, and yours are as valid as anyone’s.
This is the point where I begin the work of creating your plan.
As I learn your routines, fears, strengths, and weaknesses, I will guide you in creating your own sustainable habits.
Your achievements and your confidence will build as you tackle small challenges day by day.
